All Classes
Ballet Foundations & Up
It is very important that the teacher be able to see the student’s backs. Strappy backs or bulky sports bras make this difficult and we encourage you to keep this in mind when purchasing bodysuits. Some have built in shelf bras that are prefered. Leotards with tights also have built in undergarments to eliminate bulky layering.
No cap, short or long sleeve bodysuits for levels above Primary.
Modern Foundations & Up
black body suit and black transition tights will be used for examinations. No baggy t-shirts may be worn to modern classes.
Jazz
Lyrical & Contemporary
Acro Foundations & Up
Hip hop
Water Bottles and all footwear needs should be brought in at the beginning of class into dancers space. Your hair should not need to be adjusted part way through class; please ensure that it is secure and tidy prior to entering the studio. Proper attire, footwear and hair styling will allow you to ‘look the part’ and perform your best!
